RNSYS is primarily a sailing club and it is our goal to encourage and enhance the sport of sailing within our membership and our community.

The Squadron is home to close to 900 members from Canada, the United States, and international regions, and is proud to offer instructional programs and on-water activities for all ages, with the largest learn to sail program in Atlantic Canada. We also offer state-of-the-art facilities and support for disabled sailing. In addition to on-water activities, the Squadron has a vibrant social program with extensive shore facilities to ensure a wonderful experience for all.  The Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron is incorporated by an act of the Nova Scotia Legislature as a not-for-profit society.

In response to COVID-19 the Clubhouse is temporarily closed.  If you are an existing Squadron member and have questions regarding your account or marine facilities, please email Kelly in our Accounting Office at [email protected] or Wayne in our Boatyard at [email protected] If you are looking for information regarding membership, summer programs or event bookings, or if your inquiry is general in nature, please email Mikela at [email protected]

Thank you. We look forward to welcoming you home to the Squadron soon.
