About Us
The RNSYS is primarily a sailing club and it is our goal to encourage and enhance the sport of sailing within our membership and our community.
The Squadron is home to close to 900 members from Canada, the United States, and international regions, and is proud to offer instructional programs and on-water activities for all ages, with the largest learn to sail program in Atlantic Canada. We also offer state-of-the-art facilities and support for disabled sailing. In addition to on-water activities, the Squadron has a vibrant social program with extensive shore facilities to ensure a wonderful experience for all. The Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron is incorporated by an act of the Nova Scotia Legislature as a not-for-profit society.
